Bio

Trenton Thurtw was born in the small city of Samhill, Respirador on August 13th, 1999, to an ex-army sergeant Alex Rider and well-known porn star and prostitute, his long-time "partner", Emily Thurtw. At the age of two years old his mother walked out and left him to be raised by his father, who fell into a heavy depression and became sour and withdrawn soon after. Though his parents weren't officially married, his father still took Emily's last name. A name which followed all of them like a spotlight.  He felt the shame of being related to her, let alone her son. Throughout his childhood he was always known as "Emily Thurtw's kid" or "that Thurtw boy". He'd eventually get to see from those in his school his mother "at work" in magazines and books by the time he was ten. His father didn't care about the negative attention he was receiving and simply detached himself from it all without so much as a word. His father was less than a shoulder to cry on. He'd be constantly fighting for his father's attention and approval, deciding at 15 that he would join the Respiradorian Military and go into the army like his father. Upon learning that he's been approved to start his boot camp training, he proudly told his father. Much to his disappointment, he replied with, "I hope it's a quick death, Trenton."  After graduating boot camp, he cut all ties and communication with his father. No attempts were made to change this. Upon returning for his assignment, he was met by a general who told him that he was being reassigned to the air force to fly fighter jets and was to begin flight school the following day. He didn't argue. After another few grueling months, he finally graduated as a Flight Lieutenant and was stationed at the air force base in Radley's Hollow in southern Respirador. Here he was assigned to an air group known as The Sand Sharks.

Red July War

When the Red July War began on July 5th, 2016, he and his air group were moved to the Air Ship Gunda. He and his group did not participate on the first day of the attack, but would be in the second wave sent out on the 6th.

At 10:15AM, he and his wing were ordered to take out two anti-aircraft sites that the Fajestic were using in the hills. The confusion and protest against why fighter jets, not fighter bombers or bombers, that were equipped with bombs rather than air-to-air missiles would be doing a job other than what they were designed to do was clear. However, their orders still remained.

Trenton and his wing encountered Fajestic fighter jets almost immediately after entering the air space of Ilaa. One by one his fellow pilots were being shot down, their screams echoing through the radio. But he persisted and banked towards his target. The extra weight of the bombs he was carrying made his turning slow and made him easy prey. An enemy jet locked onto him and fired a single missile, all the while his aircraft's console warned him of the danger of the approaching him.

He looked to his left and saw the trail of smoke and the white and red tip getting increasingly bigger. In a moment it sliced through the tail section of his plane but didn't explode. This sent him into an uncontrollable spiral and roll as he rapidly began to descend. He ejected from his aircraft, barely missing one of the wings as he left. His parachute deployed and he watched as his plane plummeted away from him.

He landed in a tree which got his parachute caught up in some branches high off the ground. Choosing to disconnect and walk South and find the Army. The plan failed when he broke his leg after the fall, then due to the thick cover of the trees he lost his sense of direction. He picked a direction and chose to head out, unknowingly limping West.

After what seemed like hours, an exhausted Trenton collapsed against a tree then passed out. When he awoke, he found the barrel of an assault rifle just centimeters from his face. Behind the gun was a Fajestic soldier, face pressed against the gun with eyes glaring down the sights. Trenton just wanted this to be over quickly.

To his surprise, the soldier shouted that he'd found him. Soon a group of soldiers gathered around him, disarming him of his pistol and knife. One soldier approached from the center and asked him if he was the pilot that they were working for. He replied that he most likely was. The obvious commanding officer ordered that he be loaded into the back of an awaiting truck. After learning that he had a broken leg, they assisted him into the back of the truck. The C.O. then welcomed him to Ilaa and told him that he was now a prisoner of the Fajestic. He passed out for the second time on the way to wherever they were taking him.

He awoke in a military hospital with his leg casted and bandaged. One of the nurses noticed him being a wake and she rushed out of the room shouting that he was awake. A group of nurses and soldiers walked in. Over time they began to ask him questions about his life and the country of Respirador. Some of which confused and shocked him. Even the nurses had questions. They asked over the next few days. After the third day, they transported him to the maximum security prison nicknamed "The Pound" where he was tagged and placed with other prisoners of war. They were treated well despite being enemies of the country. The Red July War ended a few weeks later with Respirador's surrender. He and the rest of the prisoners were informed of the war's end and that they were going to be released within the next two weeks after processing had been finished.
